MEET ASHLYNN TURNER
Storytelling has always been the through line.
I’m a brand storyteller and content strategist specializing in interior design and real estate, but I started my career telling stories from a newsroom.
I studied Broadcast Journalism at Kansas State University before beginning my career at KPRC Channel 2 News in Houston. There, I worked across breaking news, human-interest features and major national stories. The newsroom taught me how to find the angle, ask better questions and understand what makes people pay attention.
Eventually, I wanted to tell stories with more creativity and more longevity. That instinct led me from journalism into public relations, brand marketing and strategy, and ultimately into the design industry.

From the newsroom to the design world
A decade inside the design industry.
For the past decade, I’ve worked inside the interior design industry, developing an understanding of how designers and design brands communicate, position themselves and build recognition.
My work has spanned public relations, brand strategy, content creation, copywriting, business development and experiential marketing, giving me a perspective that goes beyond any one marketing channel.
Today, I bring that experience to interior design and real estate brands through brand storytelling, marketing consulting, experiential events and content strategy.
I’m less interested in creating content simply because a brand needs something to post. I want to find the idea, perspective or story that makes someone worth following in the first place.
